TELEC是日本针对无线产品的强制性认证,有些类似于国内的SRRC。其遵循的是日本的电波法。具体的测试规范则是遵循MIC(日本总务省)Notice No.88法规, 测试规范的更新维护也是由MIC来进行。
按照《无线电法》要求,对指定的无线电设备进行型号核准(即技术法规符合性认证)。认证是强制性的,认证机构为MIC在指定无线电设备范围认可的注册认证机构。
TELEC认证包括测试认证(Test Certification)和型式认证(Type Certification)。
测试认证是针对每一个设备单元进行验证,该认证只对每一个经过了验证的设备单元有效;
型式认证是指对同样设计和制造的一批设备的样品进行验证,该认证对该批设备都有效,但如果设备的设计或制造发生了改变,设备将需要重新认证。
值得注意的是,对于非低功率无线电站及其终端设备的使用需要向MIC申请执照。
此外,对于电信终端设备的符合性认证分两种情况:
对于普通电话装置,只要按电信事业法要求进行JATE认证;
对于无线的终端设备,除了需要按电信事业法要求进行JATE认证外,还需要按无线电
法要求进行TELEC认证。
